Replatforming Three Enterprise Websites to Shopify in Under 3 Months

Overview

Stegbar, Regency Screens and Trend Windows & Doors, a part of the VENTORA Group, which specialise in the Australian manufacturer of windows, doors, and building products, engaged Digital Mavens to replatform from their legacy provider to Shopify.

The project required the simultaneous migration of three complex websites, each with different commercial models, under a fixed deadline driven by platform contract expiry.

The Challenge

The shared Stegbar, Regency and Trend website platform was no longer aligned with its future direction. The team needed a future-proof platform, which was easy to maintain, was budget conscious and had the ability to support both ecommerce and lead generation activities.

All three websites needed to be rebuilt and live before the end of January 2026, with reduced client availability over the Christmas and New Year period - which resulted in a extremely tight 3 month project delivery window.

The Solution

Digital Mavens delivered a full end-to-end replatform across all three brands, building three tailored Shopify environments aligned to each business model:
Stegbar: Ecommerce with advanced product configuration and Request-For-Quote (RFQ) capability.
Regency Screens and Trend Windows & Doors: RFQ-led product catalogues.

To support scale and efficiency, we developed a reusable design system and modular content framework, enabling the rollout of over 500 pages and thousands of products across the three sites.

The solution included:

  • Complex product configuration for size, materials, and features
  • Custom RFQ and enquiry workflows
  • Integration with SAP, Salesforce CRM, and marketing systems
  • Dealer and showroom location functionality
  • Structured migration of products and content from the current ecommerce platform

SEO and Risk Management

With three sites migrating simultaneously, maintaining SEO performance was critical.

We implemented a structured migration framework including:

  • Full sitemap mapping and URL redirection strategy
  • Pre-launch validation of all redirects
  • Preservation of GA4 tracking and reporting
  • Coordination with media agency to protect paid media performance

Post-launch analysis showed minimal issues, with historical website authority maintained across all three brands.

Delivery Approach

The project was delivered under significant time pressure and operational constraints. Digital Mavens led the entire migration, using:
